YOUNG INVESTIGATOR
On Tuesday, 15 September, the ISTA Munich 2026 Congress at BMW Welt will commence with the Young Investigators’ Afternoon, beginning at 13:30.
The Young Investigator Committee is developing an engaging new format that brings together perspectives from academia, industry and clinical practice. The session will be followed by the Young Investigators’ Short Talk Session from 16:30 to 18:00. This dedicated afternoon provides Young Investigators with a unique platform to present their research and engage with esteemed colleagues from around the world, with the focus placed exclusively on their work.
– Short Talk presentations (with posters) will take place on the BMW Welt veranda, prior to the opening evening reception.
Young Investigator Award: We are delighted to introduce the ISTA Young Investigator Award. The award will be presented to an outstanding contributor from the afternoon sessions taking place on 15th September.
Abstracts may be submitted specifically for the Young Investigator sessions in Ex Ordo, the ISTA submission platform, during the submission process by selecting the Young Investigator track, followed by the Podiumor Poster presentation option.
This initiative represents an exceptional opportunity for members of the under-35 community. We are delighted to introduce this format for the first time at an ISTA Congress, providing a well-deserved platform to recognize and promote the contributions of Young Investigators.
